Our Team

Our team combines extensive international experience in the assessment, design, and implementation of complex knowledge management, capacity building, and monitoring and evaluation strategies and consultancies. Our core team has expertise in organizing and facilitating diverse and multilingual online, face-to-face, and hybrid events. We have also supported local, national, and international institutions (public and private) on a variety of subject matters including environmental issues, local governance, climate change, and social entrepreneurship. The team has proven experience collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholder groups from around the globe, including government representatives, local and international NGOs, private sector leaders, civil society representatives, and local and indigenous communities.

Co-Inside is a small, women-owned consulting firm that brings together a team of multicultural, multilingual professionals distributed around the world.

Co-Founder | Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Aimee is a multilingual professional with over 15 years of experience living and working in Latin America (based in Quito, Ecuador). She has worked extensively throughout the region as well as internationally, to design, implement, and evaluate organizational development processes, strategic planning, and knowledge management strategies. Aimee has designed and carried out participatory processes for decision-making, planning, and training with representatives from public sector, national and international NGOs, community-based organizations, and indigenous peoples in Latin America and globally. She has facilitated hundreds of online, hybrid, and face-to-face events and training sessions for public and private sector clients on development and conservation issues such as solar energy, air quality, urban planning, biodiversity conservation, gender equity, climate change, among others. Since 2017, Aimee has coached individuals and executives in Spanish and English to make tangible and sustained shifts towards living more present, authentic, and meaningful lives. She was certified as an Integral Master Coach™ in June 2022 and holds a Master’s in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Aimee’s clients have included Ashoka Changemakers, CGIAR, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH Ecuador, Hivos, Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS), Planned Parenthood Global, United States Forest Service (USFS), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the World Resources Institute (WRI).

Katherine Pierront

Co-Founder | Chief Finance & Operations Officer (CFOO)

Katherine is a Bolivian natural resources management professional–currently residing in Gainesville, Florida–with 20+ years of experience managing complex international conservation programs and projects. She is multilingual (Spanish, English, and Portuguese) and has  extensive experience writing and negotiating winning proposals with international donors, as well as developing reports and planning documents for complex initiatives. Before founding Co-Inside, Katherine worked as a consultant supporting thematic research leads from the Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT to develop a USD$40 million proposal (including theories of change) for the international ClimBeR Initiative for climate-smart agriculture to respond to the “One CGIAR” call for proposals. Over the past few years, she has co-facilitated and provided technical support to ensure the success of various complex, multi-day online events. In her role as CFOO, Katherine draws upon her successful track record developing and leading the timely implementation of numerous work plans and managing projects, including the technical and financial aspects. She brings extensive experience working with communities, private sector institutions, government agencies, and NGOs including: USAID, USFS, Rainforest Alliance, Triad, World Wildlife Fund, and World Resources Institute. Katherine received a BSc in Biology from the University of Campinas and a Master’s in Forest Resources and Conservation from the University of Florida.

Brenda Bucheli

Co-Founder | Chief Strategy Officer

Brenda is based in Lima, Peru and has over 30 years of national and international experience in project planning, monitoring and evaluation, process facilitation, capacity building, and information and knowledge management. She has worked on initiatives related to environmental conservation, climate change adaptation, nutrition and livelihood security, and rural development. She has experience with various sectors and actors, fulfilling different technical and managerial roles, including Director of the NGO Pact Peru and the USAID MELS Project. Brenda promoted the creation of professional associations that seek to foster a culture of evaluation in Peru (EvalPeru) and the region (RELAC). She has 20 years of experience working with USAID-funded projects as well as extensive experience in providing consulting services in Peru and Latin America for a variety of organizations including: el Centro Internacional de la Papa (CIP), el Centro Internacional para la Agricultura Tropical (CIAT), el Fondo Internacional de Desarrollo Agrícola (FIDA), Programa Mundial de Alimentos (PMA), GIZ, International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD), DAI, Management for Development Foundation (MDF); la Sociedad Peruana de Derecho Ambiental (SPDA), Fundación Si Mujer, IDEA Internacional, y la Fundación McKnight. Brenda is a social psychologist with a master’s degree in Human Resources and Knowledge Management, and postgraduate studies in information management, organizational development and coaching. Since 2006, she has been teaching the Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation of Social Projects at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP).
